Black Tie Optional We’d love for our guests to dress to impress think timeless, elegant, and celebratory! Black tie is encouraged but not required; a black or dark suit is absolutely perfect too. We want everyone looking and feeling their best dressed to the nines with a touch of summer elegance. Please keep in mind it’s July, so comfort in the Carolina heat is key! And if you have to show up in flip-flops and shorts… we understand :) Tip: Bring a fan, wear breathable fabrics, and consider wedges or flats for grassy areas.

Yes! Kids are welcome and our little one would love some company.

Don’t worry we’ve got it covered . If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our ceremony will take place in the beautiful green solarium, which is fully enclosed and air-conditioned. We also have access to the chapel and can transition there if needed. In the event that we can’t host cocktail hour outside, guests will be welcome to relax in the chapel while the solarium is converted into the reception dinner space. Rest assured, we have solid backup plans in place to keep everything running smoothly no matter what the forecast brings!

After the ceremony, join us for a cocktail hour filled with drinks and mingling, followed by a delicious reception dinner, dancing, and plenty of fun surprises—then cap off the night with an arcade-themed afterparty!

You’re welcome to drive and park at the venue there’s plenty of parking available. For added convenience, we’ll also have a shuttle running between the hotel and the venue to make getting there easy and stress-free. (Address will be given on invitation)

The wedding party will be staying at the Kimpton Cardinal Hotel, and we highly recommend it for guests as well! It’s a stunning historic hotel located in the original R.J. Reynolds building actually the architectural inspiration for the Empire State Building right in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem. There are also several other great options nearby, including Hotel Indigo and a Marriott, both just a few minutes away from the venue. For anyone coming from Charlotte, we’re only about an hour away so if you’d prefer to head home after the reception (which ends at 10pm), that’s totally doable. Another option is booking an Airbnb in the Winston area, especially for families or groups who want to stay together and have more space. Whatever you choose, there are plenty of great places to stay we just can’t wait to celebrate with you!
